A few accidents along the way means I now have no Camera (its in repairs due to salt water damage), and now no sunglasses.
Highlights of the trip included a lot of driving at night, trying to keep awake and driving through rather poor roads, which looked more like off road tracks.
Places visited so far include,Sinharaja, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Awkana, Putalama, Mirissa, Dondra, Kataragama, Yala, Kirinda, Bundala.
I have recorded over 40 hours of driving, covering over 2300km of road around Sri Lanka, probably the most extensive collection of videos of Sri Lankan roads, which I will slowly but surely upload these on to my YouTube Channel
The highlight of the driving was the sunrise on the southern express way which was seen on the 2nd Jan 2012. The road conditions were rather scenic and misty, coupled with the amazing colours in the sky it was rather serene, video can be found here
